Conference Producer

Looking for a new challenge and want to stay in the finance industry?

Conexus Financial, Australia's premier financial media organisation and education business, is seeking a senior conference producer in the finance industry who is looking for a new challenge.

Join a great team as a Senior Conference/Event Producer building on a solid base of existing events and helping to grow the business.

This person will research, design and write educational event programs for the institutional investment industry. With a current portfolio of five publications (print and digital) and 19 events (domestic and global) our dynamic team is looking for a new team member with a high quality of thinking, who knows the funds, finance industry and markets in Australia.

You will need: keen business acumen, a strong interest in research, excellent time management, good communication skills and the ability to work with, and influence, senior-level executives. Main Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist the Director of Conferences to manage senior level forums in the investment and superannuation industry

- Develop the intellectual content of the conference agenda based on research with the target market

- Source and secure senior-level Executives as conference speakers

- Manage investor relations

- Write compelling and complementary copy as part of the product's marketing mix

The successful applicant will possess the following:

• Minimum of 2 years business/finance conference experience
• Superior research, copy writing and time-management skills
• A flair for business development and growth
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office essential
• Effective time management and ability to multi-task
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Creativity
• Analytical thinker with good listening skills

A negotiable salary package is available commensurate with experience.
